Magic Tree House (or any book on cd) is like heroin to my first graders. I put on the cd and tell them to work on spelling and they have NEVER been so quiet... it is a modern day miracle. I need to do this more often...
I'm glad you like my blog. Kind of fun to have some random readers enjoying it. I like reading yours here because its fun to see what a teacher actually thinks about her class. Growing up I always assumed that my teachers didn't have opinions about students (a credit to them) or lives outside of school for that matter.
